MUSIC FESTIVAL IDENTITY
» OBJECTIVE
The music industry has been shifting towards a more respectful and open direction in recent years. Especially the Hip Hop scene has had issues with homophobia and inequality. Now, with openly gay artists like Lil Nas X and Kehlani, it is starting to show a new, more accepting face. Yet, discrimination and invisibility are still very high. Fuse Festival is a music festival concept that simultaneously is a safe space for all kinds of people.
» APPROACH
Fuse Festival is a celebration of people. Neon colors were chosen to emphasize pride and fun. The identity is communicating boldness, visibility, and equality, so primarily gender-neutral colors are incorporated into the color palette. The line-up is made out of artists that are either part of the lgbtq+ community or are actively supporting the community as an ally. As a bonus, several merchandise articles have been designed as souvenirs.
